Worldwide
World Whitewater
Amazing overview of some of the worlds greatest rivers. This is a must have for any die hard or armchair river runner. Great for daydreaming but not so much as a detailed guide. You knew that though.

Nice coffee table book highlighting some of the worlds great rivers. Good photos. Some of the rivers are nearly flat so I am not sure why they are included and there are some glaring omissions.

Good guide to paddling in the Southern Canadian Rockies.

Good guide to paddling in the Central Canadian Rockies. I liked this one better than the guide to the South since there seemed to be more multi-day trips.

The title says it all. Great replacement for the old guide to Costa Rica.

A Gringo's Guide to Mexican Whitewater
Sweet guide to Mexico. Oddly the summary does not tell you the class rating - you have to gleen that from the detailed description. Also you have to try and figure out the boating season for yourself. Other than that the maps are great.

Kayakers Guide to Ecuador
Nice little book about the rivers of Ecuador by Small World Adventures staff. It took me awhile to get ahold of someone in order to buy the book since they are pretty busy kayaking in Ecuador most of the time.

An entire book just about the Futaleufu. Its a big river! There are some descriptions about other runs in the area as well.

This book was started by John Foss before his death while kayaking in Peru. I have doubts that it will ever be finished. My deepest regrets to the family.

Written by expert rafter Vladimir Gavrilov. Covers Russia, Siberia and Central Asia. Amazing book!

The guidebook to Nepal rivers. Unfortunately Nepal is in a civil war with the Maoists - but you should still be able to run some of the rivers.

British White Water: A Guide to the 100 best Canoeing Rivers
According to UK Rivers Guidebook this is the best overall guide to UK whitewater. They should know.
Norway the Whitewater Guide
Brand new guide for Norway. Another book to order from the UK. This is perhaps the prettiest guidebook I have ever seen. The rivers are sick. Grab this one if you like waterfalls.

Very nice book. My main gripe is that most of the photos do not match up with the descriptions and there could be a better description of the season for each run.
